Weekend in Manchester

My baby sister lives in Manchester - I don't know why but I find it really strange there, I can't work it out. We decided on seeing 'Amy' the documentary film all about Amy Winehouse, we would highly recommend watching it. It was emotionally and really interesting too. Watch the trailer here. We picked the perfect cinema for it too, HOME. Before watching the film we checked out an exhibition that was at HOME called 'The heart is deceitful above all things'

That evening we were supposed to go out for tapas but as we couldn't find the restaurant we had a wonder round and ended up eating at Splendid Kitchen (Manchester loves its fried chicken and bbq meats!) We couldn't really decide what we wanted because the whole menu looked so good but we decided on a fried chicken, corn and fries dinner... with a side of chicken tacos obviously. Was delicious.

The following day, we chilled out infront of the telly and made brunch (what we do best) Avocado, baked beans, mushrooms and fried eggs. After being really lazy we thought we better head out and get something to cook for dinner, headed to sainsburys then obviously felt like we deserved a cocktail and stopped by revolutions (student life). We decided to not waste the sunshine and went for a vodka/doughnut picnic.
